Organizers of the 2021 Cypress River Walkathon/Poker Derby had a sunny day and many happy faces travelling the town route in support of the Cypress River Resource Center on Sunday, April 11.
Speaking just hours after the derby, Jim Cassels said he and the other organizers were “ecstatic” about the turnout, estimated to have included eighty to one hundred residents from Cypress and surrounding areas.
