I am living alone in a house for the first time in my life. That time period has been filled with a variety of rented, small bachelor suites with tiny hydro bills. Living in one room apartments leads to complacency; you don’t worry about hydro because you need only a single bulb to light the room and one or two space heaters to keep you warm.
