A very generous monetary donation from owners Phil and Janet Lees, on behalf of their company Wawanesa Belmont Transfer, a trucking company from Killarney Manitoba, with some additional monies from past fundraising events resulted in the Belmont Fire Hall being able to purchase a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This new and potentially life-saving machine, mounted in the Rescue Van is in addition to the existing AED device currently located in Belmont Hall.
